Bradford + Kinzua: A One-Day Itinerary
Morning: Bradford
Start downtown or at the Zippo/Case Museum. If history is your priority, add Penn-Brad Oil Museum when open. Grab lunch before heading toward Mount Jewett and Kinzua Bridge State Park.
Afternoon: Kinzua Bridge State Park
The park preserves the story of the enormous Kinzua Viaduct, partially destroyed by a tornado in 2003. The remaining structure was transformed into a pedestrian Skywalk.
Important 2026 Access Note
Kinzua’s Skywalk is in a multi-year rehabilitation period. DCNR announced a seasonal reopening beginning September 1, 2026 through October 31, 2026. Always check the current DCNR alert before promising access in a visitor itinerary.
Add Mount Jewett or Kane
Depending on time and interests, add a small-town stop before returning to Bradford.

Evening: Back in Bradford
Finish with dinner and, if the calendar cooperates, live music, theater or a downtown event.
